Suzlon To Build 50 MW Wind Power Project For Sembcorp’s Green Infra

Suzlon Group said on Wednesday that it has won a contract to build a 50.4 MW wind power project for Sembcorp’s renewables subsidiary Green Infra Wind Energy Ltd.

Suzlon Group stated in a statement that as part of the deal, it would build 24 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each.

The project is located in Karnataka and is scheduled to be completed in 2024.

Suzlon will carry out the project, which includes erection and commissioning, as well as provide the wind turbines (equipment supply). Post-commissioning, it will also provide comprehensive maintenance and operation services.

This request is essential for the bid won from Rail line Energy The board Organization Restricted (REMCL) by Sembcorp, the assertion said.
