Cleantech Solar Expands into Open Access Wind Energy Market with 25 MW Projects

Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in India and Southeast Asia, is pleased to announce the signing of 25 MW of wind projects for global industrial manufacturers at its upcoming wind parks in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The customers will procure power from these wind parks on a captive basis to meet energy requirements at their manufacturing facilities in the respective states. These projects mark Cleantech Solar’s entry into combined wind and solar solutions, offering clients hybrid power to meet their renewable energy goals.

These long-term green energy partnerships with the customers are expected to generate over 1.5 TWh of clean energy during the lifetime of the projects, amounting to a reduction of nearly 1,434 kilotonnes of CO 2 emissions. Cleantech Solar is the turnkey wind energy provider, and these wind projects will be designed, financed, built, and operated and maintained by the developer through the term of the agreement. In addition to wind power, Cleantech Solar shall also provide solar power to these customers.
