Vestas Secures 54 MW Project in Germany from Energiequelle

Energiequelle GmbH has placed an order with Vestas for the Zeven-Wistedt wind park in Lower Saxony, Germany. This order includes nine V162-6.2 MW wind turbines operating at 6.0 MW and includes the entire process from supply and delivery to commissioning. Following completion, Vestas will provide ongoing maintenance and optimization through a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.

The project is located in Lower Saxony, approximately 35 kilometers southwest of Hamburg. Turbine deliveries are set to commence in the third quarter of 2024, with commissioning targeted for full completion in the fourth quarter of the same year.
