The Nordex Group has secured an order from Ibereólica Renovables, an independent renewable energy producer in Spain, for their N155/5.X turbines. The order is for 11 turbines for two wind farms, namely the “Aciberos” and “Padornelo 3” projects, with a combined capacity of approximately 60 MW. Additionally, the contract also includes a ten-year service and maintenance agreement for the turbines.

Both wind farms are currently under construction in Lubián, located in the autonomous region of Castilla y León, Spain. The delivery and installation of these turbines are slated to commence in spring 2024. The Nordex Group intends to install these turbines on 105-meter tubular steel towers and commission them for the customer during the summer of  2024.

Gregorio Álvarez, founder, owner and President of Ibereólica Group said,“I am very proud of adding these two new wind farms to our portfolio, especially given their location in Lubián (Zamora), where our history began in 1996, and where we will now confirm our commitment to clean energy projects as key to guarantee a sustainable future for the planet”.
