Vestas Announces Five Orders, Amounting to 404 MW in Total

Vestas is proud to announce the five key orders as part of its Q3 order intake, supporting the global transition to renewable energy.

In the Dominican Republic, Vestas Latin America secured an order for a 50 MW project featuring 11 V163-4.5 MW turbines. The project, which remains undisclosed in terms of customer and name, will include a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, with delivery and commissioning scheduled for the end of 2025.

In Italy, Vestas Mediterranean has partnered with VGE 06 S.R.L. – A2A Energia for the Terzo di Banzi project, a 29 MW installation comprising three V162-6.2 MW turbines and two V150-5.4 MW turbines. This project will also include a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement, with turbine delivery anticipated in Q4 2025 and commissioning expected in the first half of 2026.

Another significant project in Greece, handled by Vestas Mediterranean, involves a 27 MW installation using six V150-4.5 MW turbines. The details of the customer and project name remain undisclosed, but it includes a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Turbine delivery is set for Q2 2025, with commissioning slated for Q3 2025.

In France, Vestas Mediterranean has secured an order for a 46 MW project involving 21 V110-2.2 MW turbines. The project, which remains undisclosed regarding customer and name, is set to include a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement, with turbine delivery and commissioning scheduled for the second half of 2025.

Finally, in the USA, Vestas North America has secured an order for a substantial 252 MW project that will deploy 56 V163-4.5 MW turbines. The details regarding the customer and project name are undisclosed. This project will include a 10-year AOM 5000 service agreement, with turbine delivery expected in Q3 2026 and commissioning in Q1 2027.
