Vestas Announces Three Orders, Amounting to 113 MW in Total

Vestas has secured several significant orders in Q3 across various regions. In Japan, Vestas will deliver 34 MW for the Shiroishi Kosugo project developed by Tohoku Electric Power Co., Inc. and EPC Toko Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. The project will utilize eight V117-4.2 MW turbines, with delivery set for Q1 2026 and commissioning by Q3 2026. A 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement is included.

In Costa Rica, Vestas has received an order from an undisclosed customer for an undisclosed project, which will also have a 34 MW capacity using eight V117-4.3 MW turbines. The project is scheduled for delivery and commissioning in 2025 and includes a 5-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

Finally, in Italy, Vestas will supply 45 MW to the Vento de Vino 2 project for Libeccio, using seven V162-6.2 MW turbines operating in 6.4 MW power mode. Delivery is planned for Q3 2025, with commissioning expected by Q1 2026 under an 18-year AOM 5000 service agreement.
