Vestas has secured significant orders as part of its Q4 intake, further solidifying its position in the renewable energy sector. In Germany, Vestas will supply 15 V162-6.2 MW turbines for the 93 MW Breunsdorf project in Sachsen, developed by MIBRAG GmbH. The project includes a 20-year AOM5000 Service Agreement, with turbine deliveries commencing in Q2 2026 and commissioning scheduled for Q1 2027.
Additionally, Vestas will provide 18 V150-6.0 MW turbines, optimized to operate in 5.6 MW mode, for the 101 MW Windpark Reinhardswald project in Hessen, developed by Windpark Reinhardswald GmbH & Co. KG. This project also features a long-term 25-year AOM5000 Service Agreement, with deliveries beginning in Q2 2025 and commissioning planned for Q4 2026.
Both projects underline Vestas’ commitment to delivering advanced wind energy solutions, supporting Germany’s clean energy transition, and bolstering sustainable power generation across the region.
