RWE has reached a major milestone with 10 GW of installed renewable energy capacity across the United States, becoming one of only three energy companies in the country to achieve this scale. With 170+ wind, solar, and battery storage facilities operating across 24 states, RWE now generates enough green electricity to power more than 8 million homes annually.

Since its launch 18 months ago, RWE Clean Energy has expanded from 8 GW to 10 GW of capacity, highlighting its commitment to accelerating America’s transition to clean energy. Key achievements include:

  • Diverse Portfolio: 5.2 GW of onshore wind, 4.3 GW of solar, and 515 MW of battery energy storage.
  • Strong Partnerships: Collaborations with tech leaders like Microsoft, Meta, and Rivian to meet soaring energy demand.
  • New Developments: Commissioning 943 MW of wind, solar, and storage projects in 2024, including Northern Orchard Solar (150 MWac, California) and Timberland Solar (140 MWac, Georgia), powering 51,000 homes annually.
