Ralf Sikorski, IGBCE, will step down from RWE AG’s Supervisory Board at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 30 April 2025, citing personal reasons. Sikorski has served on the Board as an employee representative since 2014 and has held the role of Deputy Chairman since September 2021.
He will be succeeded by Michael Vassiliadis, Chairman of IGBCE, who will join the Supervisory Board following a court appointment in line with RWE’s articles of incorporation.
Dr Werner Brandt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RWE AG said, “I very much regret that Mr Sikorski has decided to resign from the Supervisory Board. Our collaboration has always been constructive and characterised by great trust. He has accompanied the company for many years and has provided valuable impetus in positioning RWE for the future, especially during the transformation phase, which also demanded a great deal from the employees. I wish him all the best for the future. Michael Vassiliadis, who has already demonstrated his energy policy expertise in several government commissions, will be appointed to the Supervisory Board.”
