The Nordex Group has received its first order from GETEC green energy GmbH, marking a new collaboration in the field of renewable energy. The contract includes the supply and installation of seven N163/6.X wind turbines for the 49 MW Zerbst Wind Farm, located in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
The project will see the expansion of an existing wind farm on a former military airfield in the city of Zerbst, further supporting Germany’s clean energy transition. The Nordex Group will install its advanced Delta4000 series turbines on 164-metre hybrid towers, with construction set to begin in summer 2026.
Additionally, Nordex will provide a 20-year Premium Service package to ensure high performance and long-term operational efficiency.
