NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited domestic competitive bids for the Balance of System (BOS) package of a 110 MW Wind Energy Project at Khavda in Gujarat. The tender marks another significant step in the development of renewable energy infrastructure in the Khavda renewable energy zone, which has emerged as one of India’s largest clean energy hubs.
The selected contractor will be responsible for a comprehensive scope of work covering the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of key electrical and civil infrastructure required for the wind project. This includes conducting detailed surveys, designing and constructing 33 kV overhead transmission lines, and carrying out associated road works. The contractor will also build internal access roads to support project execution and future maintenance activities.
In addition, the successful bidder will install and commission the 33 kV overhead line network that will connect the wind turbine generators to the pooling substation. The project also includes the design of redundant Master Power Plant Controllers (PPCs), execution of grid code compliance studies, and installation of Static Var Generators (SVGs) along with harmonic filters to ensure reliable and stable grid integration.
According to the tender schedule, the bid documents will be available for download from July 16, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST until July 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST.
