The Nordex Group has secured three new wind turbine supply orders in the United States with a combined capacity of more than 480 MW.
The contracts include the supply of 81 N163/5.X wind turbines for three projects. The company did not disclose the names of the customers or the project locations.
According to Nordex, the projects will be delivered in line with customer-specific requirements and are expected to further strengthen the company’s presence in the U.S. wind energy market.
The wind turbines for the projects will be manufactured at the company’s production facility in Iowa, supporting the execution of the orders.
The latest contracts expand Nordex’s order book in North America as demand for utility-scale wind energy projects continues in the region.
