Maharashtra Invites Bids For Supply of 325 MW Wind Power on Long Term Basis

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has issued RfS document for procurement of 325 MW wind power on long term basis through competitive bidding process (followed by reverse e-auction) from intra-state wind power projects.

The last date for bidding is June 9, 2022. Pre-bid clarification meeting is on May 20, 2022.

Financial bid opening and reverse e-auction dates will be informed to eligible bidders by MSEDCL. The Ceiling Tariff is kept at Rs 2.65 per unit.

Cost of RfS Document (nonrefundable) is Rs 25000/- (plus applicable GST) to be paid through online payment.

Processing Fee (nonrefundable) is Rs. 10000/- (plus applicable GST as on last date of bid submission) to be paid through online payment.

EMD Earnest Money @ 1 lakh /MW/Project to be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee along with the Response to RfS.

Earlier this week Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has floated a tender for procurment of 500 MW of grid connected wind power. The power projects to be set up in Gujarat (Phase III) with ‘Greenshoe Option’ of additional upto 500 MW.
