NLC India Invites Bids for 50 MW Wind Project in India

NLC India has invited bids for a 50 MW ISTS-connected wind project anywhere in India. The deadline to submit bids is June 10, 2022 and bids will open on the same day.

The Scope of the work includes Operation and maintenance of the project. Procurement of land, design, engineering, micro-siting, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing, commissioning, and provisional takeover are included in the scope of work. It also includes the power evacuation system, grid connectivity approvals from state electricity authorities, and load flow study.

According to the notice issued by NLC, bidders must have had grid-connected wind power projects of a minimum cumulative capacity of 10 MW over the past seven years to be eligible. At least one of these projects should be of at least 5 MW capacity and have been in operation for at most one year.

The bidder should also have completed in the past seven years an industrial project as either a developer, or an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), contractor in the areas of power, oil, gas petrochemicals fertilizer, cement, or mining. 
Bidders must have completed at least one 110kV electrical sub-station, which consists of 110 kV circuit breakers or power transformers, as either a developer or an EPC contractor.

A design consultant must be engaged by the client to provide consultancy services for wind power projects that have a minimum capacity of 10 MW at a single site in the past seven years.

Last month NLC India Ltd issued a tender for Setting up of 100 MW ISTS connected Solar Power Project on PAN India basis with Operation & Maintenance for 3 years.
