Envision Energy, a renowned global leader in renewable energy solutions, has received an order from Serentica Renewables. Serentica Renewables is a decarbonization platform committed to expediting the energy transition for energy-intensive industries. The contract is for the supply and commissioning of wind turbine generators for a 350 MW wind park set to be established in Maharashtra.
The wind park will be equipped with 106 units of Envision’s cutting-edge EN156/3.3 wind turbine generators. These turbines boast a rotor diameter of 156m, a hub height of 140m, and a rated capacity of 3.3 MW. Having demonstrated exceptional performance in China and Vietnam, these turbines have been designed to perfectly suit the wind conditions in India.
The 350MW wind park plays a vital role in Serentica’s comprehensive plan to provide renewable energy capacity of 4000MW. This idea is to provide clean energy to large-scale industrial customers, especially those with challenging emissions reduction targets. Slated to be commissioned by December 2024, the project is projected to generate 1.25 billion units of clean energy annually, reducing 1.06 million tons of CO2 emissions. This achievement will make a significant contribution to India’s decarbonisation objectives.

Nacelles and hubs for the wind turbines will be assembled at Pune, blades at the plants located at Trichy or Bengaluru and towers sourced from manufactures based in Maharashtra.”
