Suzlon Bags 29.4 MW Order from BrightNight

Suzlon Group, India’s leading renewable energy solutions provider, has secured a new order for a 29.4 MW wind installation within BrightNight’s 100 MW wind-solar hybrid project. 

Suzlon will deploy 14 units of their S120 – 140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers, each with a 2.1 MW capacity, in Osmanabad, Maharashtra. Phased commissioning is set to commence in April 2024. Suzlon will handle the project from supply and installation to commissioning, along with post-commissioning operation and maintenance services.

Each Suzlon turbine has an impressive 80%-90% domestic content and is proudly manufactured within the country’s robust domestic value chain, showcasing our commitment to the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ vision. Suzlon turbines are equipped with the proven Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology, seamlessly integrating them into the utility network to fulfill grid demands efficiently.
