NTPC Limited, India’s largest power generation company, has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the selection of Wind Power Developers to establish 1500 MW ISTS (Inter-State Transmission System) connected wind power projects anywhere in India, designated as NTPC-Tranche-II.
This bidding process will follow a Single Stage Two Envelope approach, where Envelope-I will contain the Technical Bid, and Envelope-II will house the Financial Bid, inclusive of a Reverse Auction component.
The crucial dates for this endeavor are as follows:
Last Date for Bid Submission (Technical and Financial): October 19, 2023, at 14:00 IST.
Opening of Technical Bids: October 19, 2023, at 14:30 IST.
Bidders are required to provide an Earnest Money Deposit, calculated at INR 13.86 lakh per MW, in the specified format mentioned in the Request for Selection (RfS) documents. Qualifying requirements will be detailed in the RfS documents.
NTPC retains the right to reject any or all bids or withdraw the IFB without assigning any reason, with no claims arising from such actions.
Interested parties must register with the M/s ISN Electronic Tender Services website (https://www.bharat-electronictender.com) if not already registered.
