Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), via its Growth Markets Fund II, and Ignitis Renewables have secured the Liivi 1 offshore wind farm development rights in Estonia through a winning bid of EUR 1.16 million in a competitive tender. CIP and Ignitis Renewables, winners of Estonia’s Liivi 2 offshore wind tender, will extend their project to include Liivi 1, creating a synergistic offshore wind venture in the Gulf of Riga.

The combined sites, spanning 193 sq km, aim to be operational post-2030, pending permits and financing. The exclusive collaboration showcases CIP’s global expertise and Ignitis Renewables’ Baltic market leadership, contributing to Estonia’s green energy hub vision.
