Inox Wind Secures India’s Largest Single Wind Order: 1,500 MW Deal with CESC Limited

Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading provider of wind energy solutions in India, has inked a binding framework agreement with CESC Limited. Under this agreement, Inox Wind will oversee the installation or supply of 1,500 MW of wind capacity over the next 3-4 years. The agreement is for IWL’s latest DF/3000/145 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each having a minimum capacity of 3.3 MW. The agreement involves end-to-end turnkey execution for 1,000 MW and equipment supply and limited scope EPC for the remaining 500 MW. IWL’s subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services Limited (IGESL), will provide multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services post-commissioning.

This contract represents the largest single order for a wind project in India by any Wind OEM to date.
