Suzlon Clinches 30 MW Order for 3 MW Series from EDF Renewables

Suzlon Group, a well-known renewable energy solutions provider in India, has bagged a new order for developing a 30 MW wind power project for EDF Renewables. The work involves the installation of 10 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each. The project is situated in Gujarat.

This is Suzlon’s repeat order for its largest turbine series, S144-140m with a rating of 3 MW. Apart from installation, Suzlon will also supply, supervise, erect, and commission the turbines. Moreover, Suzlon will be also responsible for post-commissioning operations and maintenance services. Suzlon turbines showcase the proven Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology, seamlessly integrating wind turbines into the utility network to fulfill grid requirements.
