Iberdrola, through its Brazilian subsidiary Neoenergia, has signed a strategic agreement with the CCR Group to supply clean energy from the Neoenergia Oitis wind power complex, spanning the states of Piauí and Bahia.

Under the deal, wind energy from Oitis 2, Oitis 4, and Oitis 6 will meet 60% of CCR Group’s current electricity demand, marking the company’s first initiative of this kind. The agreement secures 44 MW of renewable energy for CCR’s subsidiaries over 16 years, benefiting metro and train operations in São Paulo.

Operating under a self-production model, CCR will either invest in or acquire shares in the wind project, enabling cost reductions through energy incentives.
