GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Enfinity Global to supply 43 onshore wind turbines for the Fatehgarh Wind Farm in Rajasthan, India, supporting the country’s renewable energy expansion.
Under the agreement, GE Vernova will provide 43 units of its 3.8 MW–154m onshore wind turbines, with deliveries scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026. The contract also includes turbine installation services.
The project forms part of Enfinity Global’s growing renewable energy portfolio in India. The company currently has a 4 GW renewable energy portfolio in the country, with approximately 300 MW already operational, spanning solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
GE Vernova said the 3.8 MW–154m turbine has been designed to deliver high efficiency, reliability, and performance under Indian wind conditions. The turbine is certified under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and will be manufactured at the company’s Pune facility as part of its ‘Make in India’ strategy.
Deepak Maloo, General Manager of GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind business in India, said the collaboration with Enfinity Global will support India’s wind energy ambitions. He added that the company’s locally manufactured, ALMM-certified turbines position it to help developers accelerate renewable energy deployment in line with India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity.
Sandip Agarwal, CEO India at Enfinity Global, said the partnership combines GE Vernova’s wind technology expertise with Enfinity Global’s renewable energy development capabilities to support India’s energy transition while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and governance.
GE Vernova said its Pune manufacturing facility has an annual production capacity of up to 1,500 MW and will play a key role in supplying turbines for the project. The company added that its Bengaluru Technology Center and Vadodara blade manufacturing facility will further support the delivery of wind energy solutions as India works toward its target of installing 100 GW of wind power capacity by 2030.
